Happy Birthday to my favourite person. ❤️ I honestly don’t know where to even start because there’s just so much I want to say to you, and somehow words never feel enough when it comes to you. Happy birthday, my love. ❤️ I hope this year brings you all the happiness, peace and love that you deserve. I hope you get everything your heart wishes for, and even things you never thought you needed. You deserve the absolute best, always. I just want you to know how blessed I feel to have you in my life. I genuinely don’t know what I would do without you. You have this way of coming up with the most comforting words exactly when I need them the most. Somehow, you always know what to say. You have made me feel understood even when I couldn’t explain what was going on inside my head. You have never made me feel unseen. Not even once. You care for me in ways I sometimes don’t even know how to put into words. And I know I’m not a perfect friend to you. I know I mess things up. I know I’m terrible at expressing my feelings, and sometimes I probably don’t show you just how much you actually mean to me. But please know that I’m always trying to be a better friend to you. Because honestly, you are more than I could have ever asked for. More than I could have imagined having in my life. I just love your presence. I love knowing that you’re there. I love having someone I can go to, someone who knows me, understands me and still chooses to stay. And I love you. More than you probably realise. More than I know how to explain. I know I mess things up sometimes. I know I can be difficult. I know there are times when I don’t know what to say or how to make things right. But somehow, I always know that you’ll be there to hold me up when I’m falling. And I hope you know that I’ll always be there for you too. Maybe I won’t always know the right words, maybe I won’t always know how to help, but I’ll always try. I’ll always care. And I’ll always want to be someone you can count on. I still remember how we met. And sometimes I genuinely wish we could go back to that time and live it all over again. So many people came and went, so many friendships changed, so many people left… but somehow, we’re still here. Us. And I think that’s one of the most beautiful things in my life. I wish we could relive those days again. I wish we could be benchmates again, laugh over the stupidest things, annoy each other for no reason and just go back to that little version of us who had no idea how important this friendship would become. That was honestly one of the best times of my life. I know I’m not the best at expressing all of this. Sometimes I keep things inside when I should say them. Sometimes I assume you already know how much I love and appreciate you. But the truth is, I don’t ever want you to doubt your place in my life. I want to be a better friend to you. I really do. Because I genuinely don’t think I would function the same without you. You have become such a huge part of my life that I can’t even imagine what it would look like without you in it.
